Watered the plants in the greenhouse, covered the shrubs in the cold frame and put away any little bits that were left out.
Finished painting the wall and touched up the bookcase in the basement and will need to buy another can of paint.
Made spagetti for dinner, but, the sauce didn't turn out as nice as I would like.

I've lost all the data from my hard drive and now am working only on the net. Hubby spent most of the day trying to recover data from the drive. Even tried placing it in the freezer for several hours, but, nothing has worked so far. I've told him not to worry if it is recovered great if not I've resigned myself to the fact that its gone. No I am not paying hundreds of dollars to recover the info!!!

Spent 1 1/2 hours at PTG throwing on straw on rows with my husband. Alan was there creating the perfect edges on the rows, before we covered them over for the winter. Brian and I managed to cover the last two rows in Block D and 11 rows in Block C. So far we have never been able to have that many sections completely weeded, set up and covered. This will make spring definately easier next year.

Amanda joined me this morning while I did the banking and grocery shopping. Brought everything home and put it away. She then got ready to go swimming for an hour to stretch the muscles from kickboxing class. She works tonight so will take it easy this afternoon before work. Amanda and Alex played some video games to pass the time.

We had chicken stew for dinner. Alex didn't work tonight for a change. We had a chat with Dan about him thinking about moving from the house to a condo or apartment, possibly closer to work. He seems to like the idea but I'm not so sure he will do it. We are worried that with his health and being alone at the house that he could have problems and no one would know. The house is alot of work and with Dan's diabetes he comes home and sleeps or falls asleep relatively quickly. The house is more work than he seems to be able to manage most days. The yard is very large and doesn't always have time to mow, the driveway is big enough for 3 or 4 cars depending on size and shoveling is an all day event. Ultimately, it doesn't matter what we think, it is his decision but I hope he seriously considers the idea.
After dinner the guys watched Terminator Salvation and then Dan headed home.

Finally planted my garlic seed in the garden today. Kept forgetting and then remembering when it was rainy or I was out somewhere. Moved a few things around outside and placed some mulch in a few places.
Inside I sorted through my bookshelves and cleaned up a few things.

Stayed away from the parents house until tonight. Bruce came over and we ate chicken stew. Brian and Bruce packed up the old BBQ and took it over to Dan's house. Dan, Bruce, Brian and I packed up both the pickup and Bruces truck, took it to the apartment and then headed back to the house for the final load. The locker is already full, several things dad tossed in the garbage. I swept and vacuumed the house and dad did a once over to make sure we got everything. With the go ahead the keys were put on the counter, the doors were locked and we were done. The guys took the last load to the apartment and I headed home. I loaded the car with computer stuff from Bruce and Brian will take this to work.

Was at the rents house again this morning. Brought everything that was left high on shelves down to the bench where we could reach them.
The kids and hubby came over after dinner to move what was left of the nephews furniture from the house to the garage. We took apart the bed frame and stacked it in the garage as well.
Got a call from mom around 7:30pm, they were heading to the house to pick up Steve's stuff with Sam and needed the cordless and some bits because they when done they would be hanging some drapes in the apartment. Mandy and I went over and helped load the truck. They had a little too much so Mandy loaded what was left in her car and then we all drove over to the apartment to unload. When we got there some of Sam and Steve's friends helped unload and bring the stuff up. I stayed with the dog.

Said goodbye to mom and dad and Mandy and I headed home. One more day to go!!

Took several boxes to donation box and made a trip to recycle and dropped off several cans of paint. The only things left at the house now are in the garage. We should be able to fill 1/2 the van with whats left and hopefully mom and dad can get the storage locker so we don't have to take it up the elevator.
Thursday I will go over and sweep/vacuum, and do a quick tidy up. The keys are handed over on Friday.
